April 26th 2024 Hershey Youth Service Day. The kids went out to spread the word about Abuse to the residents and staff at the local Nursing facilities. They were so welcomed.

Our Story
Little Audrii RIP- Just 8 Minutes from our house
During the search of Audrii Cunningham so many in our Get It Off Your Chest Program begin to realize she would never be found alive. As information began to come in of who may have taken her and what he probably did to her begin opening old wounds and memories of things that had happen to us. As more people began to be affected by this little girl's death it became more difficult for us to deal with. One of us had just been rescued a few weeks before from someone who came to our town and lured me away from my home in the middle of the night and had no intentions of bringing me back. Thank God my parents found me.
Harley's and her sister were both victims for years from the abuse of one man who is still waiting 4 years later to be sentenced. And of course, we still have to relive this nightmare every time court is reset.
As we waited day after day to see if they would find Audrii the news finally came that she was found dead in the river right closed to our house tided to a rock in the river. This threw us and most of the kids and adult at our :Get It Off Your Chest Program" into a flash back of pain and memories we've tried so hard to forget.
Murdered a thrown in River by a man she thought she could trust a family friend.
After have conversations with Miss Brenda and other leaders of the Impact Center where we go weekly, they encouraged us, but it still wasn't enough the suicide thoughts began to arise again and the anger was overtaking our thoughts again.
Miss Brenda guest speakers Constable Ray Atchley and Deputy Tommi Kelley she is a Harris County Police Officer to help us with questions we may have had and give us some comfort with what we should do to help protect ourselves. After the meeting that night all of us young people and most of the adults couldn't get this girl off our minds.
The next morning, we both received an email form Miss Brenda with a grant from Hershy's candy. It said that it had to be written by youth, participants had to be youth and it all had to be done by the youth. So, the two of us got together and wrote the above letter to Hershy's in hopes we could win this grant to purchase wristbands, Buttons and T-shirts to start our new campaign to spread it out to the world that we were going to tell and encourage others to tell.
We then had our moms take us to Miss Brenda where we presented what we had wrote and she was so inspire she is now helping us change our tragedies into a healing. We hope our story encourages others to tell and stop these people from hurting us and spread through other schools around the world.
